Supplies you need

Here are the supplies you need to do the Dancing Spider Experiment

#1: Fill your jar 1/2 full with baby oil. You don’t need a large jar to do this, you can do this with a smaller jar as well.

#2: Add a splash of water in- about 1/4 cup.

#3: Add in your mini spiders! We added about 10 in!

#4: Break up your Alka Seltzer tablet and drop it in. Watch the reaction to see the dancing spiders!

You can do this again and again by adding more Alka Seltzer tablets!

This Dancing Spider Experiment is so much to do for Halloween! The kids will love seeing the spiders dance in the jar.
