#1: Bunny Prints

Peeps are an Easter staple! Even if you don’t love them, it’s just something that you have to have during the season.

This is such a fun Easter craft for preschoolers to try!

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

B. Set-up

Grab some paint and a white piece of paper to get ready! Grab a few Peeps and some paint and add it to a tray.

C. Activity

Have the kids paint the Peeps using a paintbrush and acrylic paint. Then, have them make prints on white paper! Make sure to press the Peeps down completely so the whole bunny shows up.

If you don’t have Peeps where you live, make your own bunny sponges! Create a bunny shape on a sponge using a Sharpie marker.

Cut it out, and then you can do the same activity! Such a great Easter craft for kids.

#2: Bunny Pom Painting

Pom painting activities are cute and so simple for the kids!

This Easter craft for preschoolers is adorable; it’s a must-try for this season.

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

B. Set-up

Draw a bunny shape on colored paper! Then, grab your paint and dump it in a paint tray. Lastly, place poms on clothespins.

C. Activity

Have your little one dip the pom into the paint and make prints on the bunny. They will cover up the entire bunny with the prints!

Then, grab some pink paint to make the nose and the inside of the bunny’s ears.

Lastly, glue on some googly eyes to finish the bunny craft!


#3: Easter Color by Code

My son LOVES these the most out of all the printables I make. They are so fun for the kids to do.

C. Activity

Make sure your child understands how to read the key at the top of the page. Then, they will color each number in the picture based on what the key says.

#4: Bunny Finger Print Craft

Looking for a cute card to make someone for Easter?

This is an easy Easter craft for preschoolers and an adorable keepsake!

How to do this activity

B. Set-up

Print off my bunny template and cut out the images. Then, use masking tape to tape the bunnies on white cardstock paper.

C. Activity

The kids will dip their fingers into the paint and make prints all around the paper! Of course, they want to make sure to make prints around the entire bunny, so it shows up.

When they are done, peel off the paper bunnies to reveal what’s underneath!

This is a cute and simple Easter craft!


#5: Sponge Easter Eggs

Creating Easter eggs with a sponge is the perfect Easter craft for preschoolers.

I love using sponges for crafts. They make the best little prints and are easy for kids to use.

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

B. Set-up

Draw an oval egg shape on a sponge and cut it out using scissors! Then, get your paints ready that you want the kids to use.

C. Activity

Have the kids paint their designs on the Easter eggs. They can paint the whole sponge one color make zig-zags, curvy lines, or stripes.

They will flip the sponge over and make prints on the paper. Make sure to have them press the sponge in all spots to ensure the whole print shows up on paper.

If they want to, they can add dots on the eggs using a Q-tip!

This is such a fun and easy Easter activity for kids.


#6: Potato Masher Egg Stamps

I love using our potato masher for art activities! This Easter craft for kids will be a hit since it’s something different!

These are TOO much fun to do. You can use one color or several different colors for this activity. You can also have this be an activity that works on patterns.

B. Set-up

Tape a piece of easel paper down on a flat surface. Dump some paint on a tray!

C. Activity

The kids will use a paintbrush to paint colors on the eggs. If they want several colors on the eggs, it’s best to use the paintbrush!

If they want just one color, they can dip the masher right in the paint.

Once they have the paint on the masher, they can place it on the paper to make the stamp. Once they make several stamps and want new colors, they will wash it off in the sensory bin of water. Then, dry it off with a paper towel and use different paints.


#7: Puffy Paint Easter Eggs

Puffy paint is a fun and simple DIY that is great for an Easter craft for preschoolers.

The colors are perfect for Easter time since they make a pastel color!

B. Set-up

Mix 2 tablespoons of glue and some foam shaving cream in a bowl. Add in a few drops of food color! Mix with a spoon. Do this for each color!

Print off a few of my FREE Easter egg images!

C. Activity

Have the kids paint the puffy paint onto the egg image! They can make fun patterns like stripes and dots, or they can just paint!


#8: Easter TP Rolls

TP Rolls are one of my favorite crafts to do each holiday! They always turn out SO cute!

The best thing about them is that you ALWAYS have them on hand! So all you need is a few craft supplies, and you are set.

How to do this activity

B. Set-up

Paint TP rolls white, pink, and yellow.

C. Activity

Directions for each roll are below!

Bunny- hot glue a pink pom in the middle of the white TP roll. Add on googly eyes and draw in whiskers and a mouth using a Sharpie! Next, make the ears using white and pink cardstock paper.

Chick-create a beak by folding a piece of orange cardstock and cutting a triangle shape out. Draw the feet on the same paper! Glue on googly eyes and feathers for the wings and at the top of the tube!

Easter basket- On the pink tube, add on some Easter-colored gems. Glue on a pipe cleaner for the handle at the top. Lastly, stuff some Easter grass and a few small craft eggs at the top!

#9: Sponge Painting

This Easter craft for preschoolers is simple, and the texture turns out great! This craft makes for pretty DIY decor around the house.

It’s really easy for kids to do, and it always turns out beautiful. Whether you decide to mix colors or keep it one color, these will turn out great.

B. Set-up

Print off my bunny freebie! Cut it out and place it on an art tray. Cut a sponge up into several pieces, as you see above. Then, pour your paints into your tray.

C. Activity

Dip the sponge in some paint and dab it all around your bunny! Do this until it’s completely covered in paint. Then, glue a white pom at the bottom for the bunny’s tail!


#10: Sponge Chick Craft

Clearly, you can see that I love using sponges for crafts. It’s incredible how you can create such cute crafts for a sponge.

This Easter craft for preschoolers is PERFECT, and they will love the feathers.

How to do this activity

B. Set-up

Create a circle shape using a Sharpie on a sponge. Then, have the kids paint the sponge yellow!

C. Activity

They will make prints on the paper. They should spread out their prints just a little bit to fit a few chicks on the paper.

Then, take an orange marker and make the legs for the chicks. After that, glue on googly eyes and two feathers to each side of the chick for its wings!

This is the cutest and most simple Easter craft.

Paint a paper plate yellow. Then, add some googly eyes and an orange beak by folding a piece of orange cardstock and cutting a triangle out.

C. Activity

Create legs by cutting strips of orange paper and fold them back and forth several times! Glue on some feathers and glue on the legs!


#12: Footprint Bunny Paper Plate

Heres a cute Easter craft for preschoolers with a paper plate! They will get so excited to put their feet into paint!

I am a little bit obsessed with hand and footprint activities. They make the cutest keepsakes! This bunny plate is SO easy to put together!

B. Set-up

Paint the paper plate grey or brown! While waiting for it to dry, create the bunny’s ears out of cardstock. You can use colored paper or even paint the cardstock the same color as you painted the paper plate.

C. Activity

Paint your little one’s feet! Then, have them make prints on the paper. Make sure to press the entire foot down, so it all shows up on the paper.

Let it dry! Then, glue the footprints on the paper plate.

Lastly, glue the ears to the back of the paper plate, cotton balls in the center, and feet on the sides.


#13: Pom-Painted Easter Eggs

Painting with poms is fun and great for fine motor skills for kids.

#14: Bunny Handprint Craft

I am such a sucker for handprint crafts. They are always the ones we keep out of all the crafts we do!

It’s so fun to go back and look at how your kid’s hands grow over the years. This Easter craft for preschoolers is a must-try activity!

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

B. Set-up

If you want to make this craft a card, cut your paper in half we like did!

Paint your little one’s hand white using washable white paint.

C. Activity

Flip their hand over and make a print on the paper. Make sure to press their hand down in all the spots to make sure the print shows up entirely.

Have them place their index finger and middle finger and their ring finger and pinky together to make the bunny’s ears.

Then, the kids will paint the inside of the bunny’s ears pink. Then they will add a nose using the circle brush, googly eyes, and whiskers!

B. Set-up

Use my FREE bunny printable to trace a bunny on cardstock. We also create some Easter eggs!

Then, outline them in glue. Finally, shake a bunch of salt all over the glue, then dump the access in the trash. This activity can be done right away, or you can wait. If you are waiting, I suggest you use cardboard!

Have the kids use watercolors to paint on the salt! They can use one color or choose to use several.

They should try to paint on the salt and not get the paint on the paper as much as possible. This Easter craft for kids turns out SO pretty!

#16: Easter Painted Rocks

I’ll be honest with you; this was the first time we attempted to paint rocks! It won’t be the last, that’s for sure! It was such a big hit.

People hide painted rocks around for others to find them where we live. They leave a message on the back, and you can post where you found it, then you are supposed to hide it again! It’s such a fun activity!

B. Set-up

Collect your rocks from outside, and if you bought them, get those and your paints!

C. Activity

Paint the eggs a specific color. We did some pink, yellow, blue and purple! Let that dry.

Then, you can decorate the rocks! Make some patterns with zig-zag lines, straight lines, or dots! We also made some chicks; those were my favorite and easy.

Let them dry and hide them outside somewhere!


#17: Bunny Mask Plate Craft

I love when kids can play with the craft they just created! They love these crafts the best.

This Easter craft for preschoolers is PERFECT for toddlers and preschoolers.

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

  • paper plate
  • cotton balls
  • glue
  • scissors
  • cardstock paper
  • glue stick
  • popsicle stick
  • hot glue

B. Set-up

Draw a semi-circle on the back of your paper plate. Poke a hole in it and cut it out so your kids will be able to see through the plate.

Draw two bunny ears out of white cardstock paper. Create smaller pink ears to be the inside! Use a glue stick to paste the pink onto the white.

C. Activity

Add a bunch of glue around the entire plate! They can use a lot of glue for this craft. 🙂

They will add the cotton balls all around the plate.

An adult should do this next step. Hot the glue ears onto the back of the plate. Also, hot glue a popsicle stick to the back of the paper plate for your kids to hold up the mask!

Then, the kids can play with their masks!


#18: Sponge Resist Bunny Craft

This Easter craft for preschoolers will be such a hit! The kids love revealing the picture at the end.

I love using rectangle sponges for crafts. They are SO easy for the kids to use.

Make a bunny shape on paper, cut it out, and use masking tape to attach it to a white piece of paper.

Then, cut a sponge up into several different rectangles.

C. Activity

The kids will dip the sponges into paint and make prints around the bunny shape! They should use different colors to make the prints and cover the paper as much as possible.

Make sure they get ALL around the bunny shape.

When they are done, pull the bunny image off to reveal what’s underneath. Lastly, glue down a pom-pom for the bunny’s tail.

#20: Easter Basket Name Craft

Name crafts are an excellent way for kids to work on name-building skills. Plus, kids love seeing their name on crafts. It’s special to them!

B. Set-up

Draw an Easter basket on paper and cut it out! I made a semi-circle for the bottom of the basket and then made a handle separately and used a glue stick to glue them together.

Then, draw enough egg shapes for your child’s name on colored paper and cut them out!

C. Activity

Have your kids write the letters of their name on the eggs. If they can’t write yet, you can do this part for them. Then, they can just glue them in order

They will paste the eggs at the top of the basket. Lastly, add some fun Easter craft supplies like stickers! I got my big stickers from Hobby Lobby.


#21: Pastel Paint Bunny Craft

Fingerprint crafts are some of our favorite crafts! We love to do them each holiday and season.

This Easter craft for preschoolers is the perfect keepsake or DIY card for someone special.

Grab your paint and add it to a paint tray!

C. Activity

The kids will make different colored fingerprints around the paper. Make sure that they get around the entire bunny image so it shows up.

Pull off the bunny image to reveal the bunny shape on the black paper! It looks so cool with all the bright colors on the black paper.

#22: Tape Resist Easter Eggs

I love doing tape-resist crafts! Revealing the designs underneath is such a fun process!

The kids will love this fun way to create Easter eggs. It’s fun, and each one can look different.

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

  • cardstock paper
  • acrylic paint
  • masking tape
  • art tray
  • scissors

B. Set-up

Draw and cut out an egg shape on cardstock paper. Then, create the design that you’d like using masking tape.

You can make criss-cross designs, stripes, or even zig-zags! Have fun creating the designs.

C. Activity

The kids will paint on the white parts of the egg. We used acrylic paint, but you can also use watercolors.

Then, when the kids are done, pull off the tape SLOWLY. If you pull too fast, the tape can rip the paper.

Reveal your beautiful egg craft!


#23: Chick Handprint Card

This Easter craft for preschoolers is perfect to make for someone special!

I can’t get enough of the cute feathers for the chick crafts! They are so fun to use.

How to do this activity

B. Set-up

Paint your little one’s hand yellow and make a handprint on paper!

Cut a triangle out for the beak using orange paper.

C. Activity

To create the legs for the chick, use an orange marker. Then, glue on the googly eyes, beak, and feathers to the sides of the handprint.

Add a cute Easter message on the card. Lastly, we used colored paper and pasted it behind the white paper. Give this to someone special!


#24: DIY Egg Wreath

I love homemade decor! It’s so cute to see the kid’s artwork hanging up around the house.

This Easter craft for preschoolers is easy and super fun for the kids to create different colored eggs.

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

  • paper plate
  • scissors
  • hot glue
  • cardstock paper
  • paint
  • Q-tips
  • paintbrush
  • pencil

B. Set-up

Create the wreath out of a paper plate by using scissors to cut the whole middle of the plate out. If you want you can use a pencil and draw a circle on the back of the plate to make it easier to cut.

Use my FREE egg template to create eggs for the wreath. Cut out the template and trace it onto white cardstock paper a few times.

C. Activity

Create the eggs by using Q-tips and paint designs! You can also use a paintbrush to color the eggs and then decorate them!

Wait for the eggs to dry (if using acrylic paint, it will only take about 20 minutes).

Adults will do this step! Use a hot glue gun to paste the eggs down around the wreath.

Lastly, poke a hole in the plate and thread a piece of twine through to hang up around the house!


#25: Marble Easter Egg Craft

The process of this marble Easter craft for preschoolers is TOO much fun!

My daughter loved doing this activity. She especially loved scraping the shaving cream off to reveal the marble look!

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

  • card stock paper
  • food coloring
  • paint scraper
  • foam shaving cream
  • art tray
  • toothpicks

B. Set-up

Draw an egg shape on card stock paper and cut it out!

C. Activity

On an art tray, spray shaving cream and spread it out with your hand. Add a few drops of food coloring to the shaving cream (you can use one or multiple colors).

Use a toothpick to mix it up!

Place the egg shape on top of the mix and press gently down to make sure the entire egg is covered with the mix.

Pull the egg shape up and place it on a clean tray. Then, use a paint scraper or plastic ruler to scrape the extra shaving cream off to reveal the marble look!


#26: Pastel Bunny Craft

This Easter craft for preschoolers is so fun because kids get to use oil pastels!

These bunnies turn out really cool on white or black paper.

Have the kids use the oil pastels to color around the bunny. They can use one color or multiple colors!

Peel off the bunny shape to see what it looks like. The colors turn out so bright and pretty.


#27: Ripped Paper Bunny Craft

Ripped paper crafts are easy and so much fun for kids. This Easter craft for preschoolers is the perfect Easter card to give to someone.

B. Set-up

Print off the sheet and have the kids start to rip small pieces of construction paper! We used pink, blue, purple, yellow and green!

C. Activity

They will use a glue stick to glue down the pieces of construction paper on the bunny. They can write their name on the craft and give it to someone special!

#28: Whipped Cream Easter Eggs

I have a fun new way for you to dye Easter eggs this year! This Easter craft for preschoolers will be a new tradition for you.

I love how these turn out, and the process is so fun.

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

  • Cool Whip Whipped Cream (2 containers)
  • white eggs
  • muffin tray
  • food coloring
  • spoon

B. Set-up

Add a spoon full or two of Cool Whip into each section of a muffin tray.

C. Activity

Add food coloring to each section of whipped cream. We added several colors together for each one. Check out the video above!

Mix the food coloring with a spoon a few times to make it look like the food color is a swirl in the whipped cream.

Place an egg inside each section! Cover the egg entirely with the mix you created for each color. You can use gloves or a spoon to do this so your kid’s hands don’t get stained from the food coloring.

Let the eggs sit for 15-20 minutes! The longer they sit, the better they will turn out.

Run them under cool water and pat dry with a paper towel! Check out your awesome Easter eggs.


#29: Watercolor Resist Eggs

I love white crayon resist activities! The kids love revealing what each egg’s design is!

This Easter craft for preschoolers is perfect for kids of all ages.

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

  • cardstock paper

B. Set-up

Create egg shapes with a pencil on cardstock paper and cut them out.

C. Activity

Make designs on each egg with a white crayon. You can even write their name on the eggs!

When you are making the designs, press down hard on the white crayon. The bolder you make your designs the easier it will be for the kids to reveal them.

They will use watercolor paints to show their designs!

Using a fork to create crafts is fun for the kids! It’s a different supply that is perfect to make chicks!

B. Set-up

Make an egg shape on cardstock paper and cut them out.

Create a circle inside each of the eggs, so the kids know where to make their prints.

C. Activity

The kids will dip their forks into yellow paint and make prints inside the circles that you created!

They should cover the entire circle to look like a chick. Then, create legs for your chick with a marker!

Make a face for your chick by adding on googly eyes and a beak.

Lastly, grab some craft feathers and glue them on either side of the Easter chick! What a fun and adorable craft.
