DIY Crayon Directions

Here are the simple steps on how to make your own crayons!

#1: Take your crayons and place them in a warm bowl of water. This will make it easy to peel off the paper on each crayon. Believe me it takes forever to do this if you don’t place them in water!

#2: Peel all the paper off the crayons and break the crayon into small pieces.

#3: If you want to add in glitter, add it to the bottom of each mold before you add in the crayons.

#4: You want to fill the entire mold up with the crayons!

#5: Place on a baking sheet and preheat the oven at 275 degrees F.

#6: Bake the crayons for 10-12 minutes or until they are melted completely.

#7: Let them cool- this can take a little bit! I usually let them sit over night.

#8: Peel them out of the mold and color!

I espeically love the mixed color red and white tree! The kids will love making these for Christmas.
