The kids especially loved the glowing pumpkin paper plate! I’ll give you directions for each Halloewen paper plate below.
Mummy Halloween Paper Plate Craft
This is a great fine motor craft for Halloween! It’s simple and turns out adorable.

Supplies
- paper plate
- one-hole punch
- white string
- googly eyes
- glue
- tape
Step-by Step-Directions
#1: Use a one-hole punch to punch holes around the entire paper plate.
#2: Glue googly eyes onto the plate and wait for them to dry (use hot glue and they will dry right away).
#3: Cut pieces of white string, not too short and not too long- I didn’t measure mine exactly it doesn’t need to be perfect.
#4: Grab a piece of white string and tape the end to the back of the paper plate. String the white yarn through one of the holes and string is through the front. If your piece is long enough you can keep going until it gets to the end of the piece. Place another piece of tape on the back of the plate to secure the string.
#5: Continue step 4 until you are happy with how many strings that the mummy has!
Spider Web Halloween Paper Plate Craft
This simple Halloween paper plate craft takes just minutes and it’s so fun to sprinkle all the glitter on!

Supplies
- paper plate
- black acrylic paint
- paint brush
- glitter
- glue
- art tray
Step-by Step-Directions
#1: Paint the paper plate using black acrylic paint. Make sure your child is wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting stained just in case.
#2: Wait for the plate to dry. It will take about 15-20 minutes for it to dry.
#3: You can use a pencil to create a spiderweb shape onto the plate. Then, you can trace your lines using glue or have your child use the glue to trace your web.
#4: Place the plate onto an art tray. Then, your child can choose what color glitter they want to use and they can sprinkle the glitter onto the glue. Dump the extra once the glue is covered.
#5: Wait for it to dry and check out your adorable spider web plate!
Jack-O-Lantern Halloween Paper Plate Craft
This is such a fun craft to make for Halloween! Your kids will love to watch this pumpkin craft light up.

Supplies
- paper plate
- orange acrylic paint
- scissors
- brown cardstock
- green pipe cleaner
- hot glue
- tealight flameless candle
Step-by Step-Directions
#1: Paint two paper plates using orange acrylic paint and wait for them to dry. This will take about 15-20 minutes to completely dry.
#2: Draw the jack-o-lanterns face onto one of the paper plates using a pencil. Use that pencil to poke a hole through the plate and use scissors to cut out the shapes you created to make the pumpkins face.
#3: Grab your other paper plate and use glue to paste the stem on the back of that paper plate and hot glue to paste the pipe cleaner for the leaf of the pumpkin onto the back of the plate.
Cut a little bit off the green pipe cleaner and twist is onto your finger to make it like a spiral!
#4: Hot glue a tea light towards the top of the plate that has the stem and pipe cleaner attached to it. Hot glue it sort of close to the pumpkins eyes to make sure it’ll be bright enough everywhere on the plate.
#5: Glue the plates together and turn on the light to see it glow! How cool is that!
