Supplies you need to make Halloween Suncatchers

Here are all the supplies you need to make the suncatchers you see above in the picture!

contact paper
black cardstock
tissue paper squares
scissors
pencil
googly eyes
tape
free Halloween templates (get yours at the bottom of this article!)

Step-By-Step Directions for Halloween Suncatchers

#1: Cut off a piece of contact paper and peel off the backing. Make sure the piece you cut will be large enough for the templates. Place the contact paper on a flat surface!

#2: Cut out the template and place it on a black piece of cardstock. Use a pencil to trace the outline of the image on the black paper and cut the shape out.

#3: Use the pencil to create an outline inside the Halloween image. Make the outline so there would just be a little bit of the black paper for the outside of the image. Poke a hole using a pencil in the center of the Halloween image you created on the black paper and cut along the pencil marks you made to make the outside of the suncatcher.

#4: Place the black cardstock paper outline you just made on top of the contact paper. The kids will place colored tissue paper squares to fill up the entire image!

#5: Then, cut another piece of contact paper big enough to fit the Halloween image. Place it over the tissue paper squares the kids placed on, so they won’t fall off.

#6: Cut off the extra contact paper on the sides. Then, you can add googly eyes or black cardstock paper for the face!

#7: Use clear tape to put the suncatchers up on the window!
